Prunelli Di Fiumorbo

​The municipality of Prunelli-di-Fiumorbo is situated in the South of the oriental plain, on the right bank of the river Fiumorbo. It is a municipality of average and low height, leaned in the central chain as high as the Punta di a capella, and extending over 10 kilometers from west to east to the Tyrrhenian Sea

The center of the municipality is a plain in light slope of the northwest towards the southeast, the height between 80 and 10 meters. There groups together the largest part of the population into a rosary of hamlets distributed along roads, in particular east-west said axis " road of the plain ".

Situated in the department of the Haute-Corse, Prunelli di Fiumorbo's sea resort pulls its name of the river which lines her. She consists of several hamlets among which Migliacciaro, Abbazia or still Agnatello. It possesses a rich heritage and magnificent points of view, a municipality being a village-belvedere where from we perceive the Elba Island and Montecristo and to Italy when the time is clear. The ruins of the convent Saint François and those of the Saint-Jean-l'evangelistic abbey confide in the term of attractive strolls.

The most beautiful asset of the site is doubtless the beach of Calzarellu, a well fitted out and watched space situated very close to a small pond. Aquaerobics, aqua-park, the activities are not lacking.
