Ghisonaccia is situated in the South of the Corsican oriental plain, in the lower pond of the river Fiumorbo, which lines the municipality on approximately fifteen kilometers. If we except a small zone raised(brought up) to the northwest, almost all of the municipality what is unless 100 meters in height, what is exceptional in Corsica. The relief, slightly modelled, bows(is defeated) of the northwest towards the southeast. The administrative center, which groups(includes) the majority of the population of the municipality, is situated in the South of the municipality, in the junction of the main road Bastia - Bonifacio and of the secondary road 344 Ghisonaccia-Ghisoni. Although the administrative center of the canton is Ghisoni, situated in 25 kilometers in the inside, it is here that are almost all of the businesses and services(departments): two supermarkets (three in summer), the gendarmerie
